I love animals!

I loved my first visit to the San Francisco zoo. It reminds me of some of my favorite books, like "Goodnight Gorilla". I was instantly attracted to the lights and music of the carousel. I squeezed Mommy with excitement on my first ride. I wanted to ride over and over and over again.

I love chasing and feeding cats, and when dogs bark I think it's funny. I've never met an animal that I didn't like. I cannot say the same thing about people; if a person laughs too loud, I cry!

"Bo!" "Woah!" (boat! water!)

Check out my new ride!

I LOVE this car! The windblown hair, the sun on my face, the car so compact I can touch everything. I was giggling with delight and wanted to ride in it all day! When Daddy parked the car, I shouted "Moah!" (more) and protested when he tried taking me out of the carseat. Can you see how ecstatic I look?!? I don't think I will want to ride in the wagon anymore after this experience!

Bye, Mommy & Daddy - I'm staying in the car!

Who? Innocent little me?

Look at my face. How could someone as sweet as me have a temper tantrum? Well, if you just give me what I want, then you won't have to find out...!!!

He-oh!

I say lots of words now, but by far the funniest are all of my Mama and Dada-isms. I say "wooooow!" when I see something cool, "yay!" when I'm excited about something, "mmm!" when I eat something delicious, "huh!" (catching my breath) when there is something to notice, and "eee" around gross things. I like to swat flies and crush ants like Mama, and squeeze my face to make silly facial expressions like Dada.

I'm feeling better

Thanks to everyone for their well wishes! I'm returning to my silly, giggley, running self.

I've also perfected my ability to say "no". Instead of the confused and tentative "no?", I can get my point across now with an assertive "NO!" It's become my favorite word these past few days.
