My first catwalk

I love these sandals! I like to put them on myself and model them. I've also grown an appreciation for all bags, and carry them around like a purse!

Sashay, sashay!

My first trip to Yosemite

My parents took me to Yosemite National Park for the first time. I was totally giddy enjoying the outdoors. I was running all over the place, giving my parents a good workout chasing me around!

It was my first time seeing and playing with snow!

We went with my buddy Eliana and her parents. Here both of our daddies look like a couple who adopted twins.

Welcome to my home away from home - our rental house in Foresta, right outside Yosemite Valley. Check out our view - you can see Half Dome and El Capitain!

This was Daddy's favorite scenary.

I visit Daddy's office again

On our way to Yosemite, we passed by my Daddy's office. I always have a great time when I'm here. I roll the yoga ball, run around the kitchen throwing snacks around, peek into conference rooms and run up and down the hallways. We had lunch at the cafe but frankly I was too excited to explore to eat any of the food. When we came back 2 days later, I splashed around barefoot in the ankle-high fountain in Charleston Park right next door. I love visiting his office. If only Daddy worked closer to our home!

I love to go "out"!

I'm just like my Daddy. My dad's favorite word growing up was "iko" (Japanese for "let's go"). Now I always say "up/out" to hurry my Mom to take me out to more great places!

Silly me!

I have a silly personality, especially during meal time. In this picture, I've combed my hair with my spoon.

I always try to run away during diaper changes. My Mom has learned lots of wrestling moves to keep me down!

I love Mikhail Gorbachev! Here's me kissing him.

I start school

I started at a local Montessori school this week for two days a week. I've met 12 new friends and together we play outside, have snacks and lunch together, learn some Montessori-based "practical life" activities, sing & dance in a circle, and even make art. Check out my first artwork - it's a Matisse!

A healthy set of lungs

Many people write saying what a happy baby I am - yes, this is generally true. But I also want to share with you that I am not happy all the time. In fact, when I get crabby - watch out!! I have quite a pair of lungs - just ask anyone who has been around me for some time! Crying is my job, and I'd like to think I am quite good at it! Here's me having a temper tantrum.
