9 month mark

I'm 27 inches tall (10th %), 15 pounds 2 ounces (<3%), 42.7 cm (<3%). My small size is in line with my sister's growth, but my doctor is not pleased nonetheless. Hopefully now that we've finished all of our traveling for now, I can finally get back to a normal eating and sleeping schedule.

New York newbie

In New York, I was mainly going along for the ride. I did get to stretch out in the warm weather in this centrally located park.

A hard adjustment

I was a super breeze for the entire trip, but the jetlag upon returning was hard on me. You would think that since I'm accustomed to waking up every 3 hours that this would not be the case, but it's true! For several nights in a row, I would wake up in the middle of the night and cry inconsolably for more than an hour. This surprised my parents since I never did this even as a newborn. My parents brought me to the opposite side of the house so as not to wake up my sister and ruin her jetlag adjustment. But this didn't always work; one night my parents got so exhausted that all four of us wound up in bed together with my Mom so squished in the middle that she had to sleep with her arm above her head to fit. (the other time this happened, my sister wacked both of us in the face with her arm in the middle of the night and woke us up! so that's why my Mom elected to sleep in the middle this time) After a couple of nights where my parents had to let me cry, I finally adjusted 5 days later... but not without many tears shed!

Ah, but it's nice to be back home, with all the trees, open spaces, toys, and plenty of Automobile magazines to crumble!
