Stuck!

My favorite part of Tokyo was our apartment with this soft cream colored carpet that I drooled all over. I've been scooting backwards for a while now, always getting caught underneath furniture! I better figure out forward motion soon...

I like Tokyo

Sure, my parents were always taking me out, and I was only able to take 30 minute naps in the baby carrier. The trip was not focused around me; there is no way I am going to remember it. But I didn't mind. I'm an easy going traveler and got to experience more than most babies my age do! (How many 8 month olds do you know have been to a Disneyland in two different countries?) I was a good sport, and happily and patiently went along for the ride.

See more pictures from the trip here.

Salaryman in training

Riding the train with my briefcase, doing my best salaryman imitation. Think the lady passengers will find my groping adorable?

In our tokyo apartment

It's not sushi, but...

I have become a really good eater, just like my parents! I've been averaging about 6-8 ounces of food a day! My Mom made all my food while in Japan, since the commercial Japanese baby foods for 7 month olds had odd ingredients like bonito flakes. So instead, I devoured yaki-imo (roasted Japanese sweet potatoes) and kabocha.

(OK, this photo was technically taken back in February in our home in America, but I couldn't resist sharing)
